Past Events: NorthWest Z Game Night - Feb 19, 2005

The party started sometime in the afternoon of Feburary 19, 2005. We were very fortunate to have members from all over the state come and let down their hair for a few hours.
With Lance provided his 11.5 gram "new poker chips" two tables of hopelessly addicted "holdem" players let it all hang out. If I remember right the ladies on one of the tables were pretty well handing the heads of their significant others over bragging rights to the best of the table. With a $10 buy in the stakes were seriously high.
Before, during and after cards and other games, snacks, meal and drinks were had by all. As you can tell from one of the pictures included with this write up the members really relaxed as the pile of shoes can testify. Unfortunately, none of the shoes were Vickie nor my size so they all were returned to the proper owners.
Besides the fun of competing, the comradiere and friendship building was very nice to experience. We relish the friendships that we have made during our time with the club and can only tell everyone how fun it is to be in the company of such fine people.
Sometime around 200AM the last couples left for their rooms for the reminder of the night. However, at 1100AM they were back for the brunch we had prepared. Again much laughter and boosting was had for all.
Unfortunately, the night and day swept by much too fast as Dan and Rhonda drove out off the driveway at 400PM, Sunday to make their jouney back home.
